Guest Blogger Feature: Sweet Magnolia Photograpy

We are so thrilled to have Paige Everson of Sweet Magnolia Photography joining us this month as our guest blogger.  Here’s a little bit about her, her business and what inspires her.

“A little about me and my business:
I am a wife and Mom first.
I am an on location natural light photographer.
My interest in photography began in 2009 and I officially started my business in 2011.
Before that I dreamed of becoming a writer.

Q:
“What inspires you to pick up your camera and start shooting?
A:
I had been married 10 years before I got pregnant with my first child.
A beautiful little girl who has changed me in ways I never even dreamed.
It was not long after she was born that my desire for another child began.
It has been one of my life’s greastest disappointments…our inability to conceive again,
or to maintain a viable pregnancy.
After 4 long years of trying and my child birth years getting shorter and shorter,
I am coming to terms with the fact that we may never have another.
I may never again feel the joy of life growing inside me,
never again count little fingers and toes
on a brand new baby to make sure they are all accounted for.
There are worse things in life to be sure. Much greater heart aches and losses.
For us, however, this is a big one.
That is what inspires me to pick up my camera and shoot.
Yes, I do a lot of client work. And some of it is very inspiring,
but none can light up my heart like a captured moment of my little girl spinning.
A laugh, a jump, a bike ride or a nap.
I want to remember her moments of littlehood, before they fly away.
She is my only little. Yet, I hate that word “only”.
For surely, with her huge heart and sweet spirit, she has proven to be more than enough.
She is all the inspiration I could ever hope for. And I feel very blessed indeed.”
