Guest Blogger: Erin Konrath Photography

I am so thrilled to announce one of our TWO guest blooger for this month.  Erin Konrath, of Erin Konrath photography is truly an inspiration.  Her images are so beautiful and full of life and light.  Here’s a little bit about Erin, her photography and what inspires her to pick up a camera and start shooting.

I am a natural light child and family photographer for the Chicagoland area. I love capturing portraits and lifestyle shots of people in their natural environments…mainly their homes. I also use my own home everyday to photograph my littles. Everyday. I am on my second 365 and these kiddies of mine are champs having my camera on them…all.the.time. I am completely obsessed with photography and this feeling won’t go away! It’s been 2 1/2 years since I picked up a camera and I can’t ever imagine my life without it. It is a part of me now, an extension of myself.

So many different things stir my soul, give me that rush that makes me run for my camera. Of course it is light and love mainly, but the moment always wins in the end. It could be something as simple as a glance or the way a piece of hair is falling forward…it could be all the army guys set up in a perfect line (I love lines!) or some precious little feet barely dangling off a big chair. These moments are what I use to tell my story or my client’s stories. I love to make these simple moments into something profound.”
